How to Study Classics at Carleton

As a Major or Minor

Greek and Roman Studies offers a B.A. Honours, B.A. Combined Honours, B.A. and a Minor. See Degree Streams.

If you wish to switch into one of these degrees, log on to Carleton Central and choose Change of Program Elements. For full instructions, see the Carleton Registrar Page.

Take one or two classes

Greek and Roman Studies classes are open to all majors at Carleton. If you don’t want to do a degree or a minor, consider taking a course out of a general interest in mythology, archaeology, history, or literature. Who knows where that might lead?

A complete list of Greek and Roman Studies courses and course descriptions may be found at the CLCVGREK, and LATN entries in the Carleton Undergraduate Calendar. Courses offered in the current year may be found on the Current Course Outlines page.
