
Grace McKeon
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
Grace McKeon is an Exercise Physiologist and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow from Sydney, Australia. Her research focuses on the role of physical activity to improve the health of populations exposed to trauma and social disadvantage including refugees and asylum seekers and survivors of gender-based violence. Grace has expertise leading clinical trials and prioritises using co-design participatory research methods. She has contributed to >35 publications and is named investigator on >$3.4M of funding. Grace’s work advocates for the role of allied health professionals in the field of traumatic stress. From 2021 to 2024 Grace served as an elected board member of the Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS). She also founded and currently co-chairs the Allied Health Special Interest Group within the society.
