Madeleine Sheppard-Perkins

After completing an undergrad in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Guelph, Maddy is back in her hometown of Ottawa to complete a Masters of Health: Science, Technology and Policy. Stemming from her close volunteer work with the Home of Hope Transitional Shelter for young women affected by AIDS in Northern Uganda, Maddy’s principle research interests lie in women’s maternal and sexual reproductive health rights, global health policy and participatory action research.
