Dr. Wayne Boone
It is with great sadness to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Dr. Wayne Boone on Saturday, June 20th, 2015. In addition to being one of the founders of the IPIS Program, Dr. Boone was an invaluable presence in our program. He provided immense support to the growth of the program, made numerous contributions, instilled leadership and was a pillar for many students and the surrounding community.
The administration of the program, its professors, students and alumni will always remember Dr. Boone’s efforts and contributions to the safety and security community, and our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and those impacted his passing. He will be greatly missed by the many individuals whose lives he has touched.
