(1) Conference awards

Two awards will be offered at IST 2019: one for best paper and another for best poster. The best paper award will target emerging and early career scholars, whereas the best poster award will be open to all poster presenters. The winners will be acknowledged during a plenary session on the final day of the conference.

To be considered for the Best Paper Award, we ask that scholars: (1) meet the eligibility requirements, (2) fill out a self-nomination form, and (3) return the completed form along with a blind/anonymized copy of their paper (Word or PDF format) to the conference organizers at IST2019@carleton.ca by June 3rd.

The IST 2019 Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the results of this year’s award competition.

(3) Book sales table

In coordination with our campus bookstore, we are planning to have a book sales table for IST 2019. If you have a recent publication related to sustainability transitions which you would like to make available for purchase at the conference, please see the attached submission guidelines. Sending in your submissions as soon as possible will give us the best chance of having your book available for sale at the event.
