IN FRONT OF THE VIOLENCE: Resistance, Disputes, Processing

This colloquium aims to explore, in a comparative and multidisciplinary perspective, the forms and effectiveness of the paths taken to deal with the violence that these are the result of popular movements (movement of missing and murdered indigenous women, movement #Metoo, victim movements) or be of an institutional nature (surveillance policies, state of emergency measures, de-radicalization, truth commissions or reconciliation policies). Interventions explore at different levels and in different social spaces, the meanings of violence. This colloquium aims to open a space for dialogue on the place of social actors in these dynamics of violence and in the means that they are implementing to put an end to them.
