EARLY FALL 2022 COVID-19 POLICY (subject to change according to provincial and university guidelines):

The Lifelong Learning Program follows Carleton University’s COVID-19 guidelines. Carleton University has paused its mandatory mask mandate as of June 25, 2022. Even though masks will no longer be mandatory, the university continues to strongly recommend masking when indoors, particularly if physical distancing cannot be maintained. The Lifelong Learning Program cannot require/enforce mask-wearing and cannot check vaccine status or symptoms. However, to safeguard other participants’ well-being, the program strongly encourages mask-wearing, respecting others’ personal space, and staying home if feeling sick.

Carleton University (the University) has put in place measures to reduce the spread of communicable disease (including COVID-19), however, the University cannot guarantee that any individual attending the University Campus, using the University’s facilities, or participating in activities organized by the University, whether on-campus or off-campus (including student internships and placements) (collectively, the University Activities) will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending the University Campus and participating in the University Activities, could increase the risk of contracting COVID-19.

PRIVACY:

In some locations, in-person series are held in a public space that other Carleton community members may enter. Participants reserve the right to not share private information during the events.

RECORDINGS:

LLeaP’s in-person events will not be recorded.
