LLeaP’s OFFERINGS ARE LIVE EVENTS; PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ENSURE THEY CAN ATTEND AT THE SPECIFIED TIMES. LLeaP may make and use recordings as a backup in case of technology problems. However, at the moment the program does not share recordings, in part out of copyright and intellectual property concerns. LLeaP’s approach may change in the future when we have a more secure place to store and stream recordings.

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT:

Participants require high-speed internet to participate in online offerings, and should install Zoom’s free application for Windows or Mac desktop computers (or tablets with keyboards) for the best experience. Participants are to test their ability to use Zoom by downloading the free desktop application, and using this test link, https://zoom.us/test, before attending any offering.

I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure I have up-to-date antivirus software and other internet security to prevent malicious software that could damage my computer systems or those of the University. If any technical issues arise, such as a cyber attack or loss of data, the University will not be held liable for any and all costs, expenses, or claims arising from a loss of data or any other software or hardware damage.”

Accordingly, on the recommendation of Ottawa Public Health, Carleton will be maintaining the mandatory COVID-19 Mask Policy until further notice.
