  • Courses start: 9 a.m.
  • Courses end: 3 p.m.
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Transportation for the mini-courses depends on the participating school board or private school. Here’s what you should do:

  • Check with your home school – some school boards and private schools arrange their own transportation for students taking part in the mini-courses.
  • Confirm the transportation details well in advance so you can arrange your travel with no rush.

What happens if I have to withdraw from the program?

If you have to withdraw from the program, here are the refund conditions:

  • Until April 9, 2026 – you’ll receive 100% refund.
  • After April 9, 2026 – No refund possible.

What if I have to miss a day of MCP?

Students are required to attend their assigned MCP course each day, just like attending a regular school day. Attendance will be taken by each instructor at the beginning of the day, and after lunch. Please email mcp@carleton.ca if you will be late, leaving early, or absent. Ensure the students full name and course is listed in the email.

Are there any other activities during the week?

We have booked spaces around campus for you to stay active and creative during lunch time! Students are welcome to bring their own sports equipment or craft project. MCP will provide some equipment as well.

  • TAAG Field (Outdoor)
  • Craft Room (Nicol Building)

There will be Carleton staff at these locations if you need any assistance. These locations are highlighted on the campus map. Students will not have free access to other areas of athletics.
