Carleton has contracted with Rogers to provide mobile phone services for faculty and staff business use! This plan only applies to devices that are paid for by University funds.

Ultimately, this will result in substantial savings.
New Pricing
Most people are currently paying $30.00 a month for 5 gigabytes of data (plus overage charges if the device exceeds the 5 gigabyte limit).
Flexible pricing based on data use
With the new Flex option, data service is now tiered every billing month as shown below. Charges are based on how much data you use.
- $15.25 – up to 300 Megabytes
- $30.00 – Up to 1 Gigabyte
- $45.00 – Up to 6 Gigabyte
- $50.00 – Unlimited
With this tiered model, the University is protected against overage fees if any device(s) exceed the allotted 6 gigabyte data limit.
More Features for Less
The VOR agreement with Rogers includes the following features for $8 per month. (Compared to the current $20 a month for limited local calling).

- Call display
- Call forwarding
- Call waiting
- Conference calling
Long Distance Improved
The VOR agreement also provides long distance plans for Canada and the United States.
Calls within Canada:
$0.02 per minute
Canadian long distance packages:
Unlimited minutes for $6.25 / month
Calls to the US from Canada:
$0.15 per minute
US Long Distance Packages
- 50 minutes for $5
- 125 minutes for $10
International Calls

What do I have to do?
Nothing! You will be automatically transferred to the new plan on July 1st.
