Effective April 1, 2025, new Rogers corporate mobile plans are taking effect. Your plan will transition to the new pricing if:

  • Your current line is no longer under the two-year voice and data contract or,
  • Your current line is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) line.

Here are the changes you can expect based on your current plan.

Voice and data flex line (includes unlimited Canadian long distance & Canada Wide unlimited Text/Pic/Video Messages)
You will be transitioned to the following plan pricing:

  • $2.50 – Voice
  • $3.00 – 300MB
  • $4.00 – 1GB
  • $4.00 – 3GB
  • $8.00 – 6GB
  • $9.00 – Unlimited

Each month, the cost will adjust based on your data usage, plus a base $2.50 cost for voice calling. For example, if you use 3GB of data, your charge for that month would be $6.50. If you exceed 6GB, the charge will be $11.50 for unlimited data and unlimited Canadian long distance

Data flex line
You will be transitioned to the following plan pricing:

  • $3.00 – 300MB
  • $4.00 – 1GB
  • $4.00 – 3GB
  • $8.00 – 6GB
  • $9.00 – Unlimited

Each month, the cost will adjust based on your data usage. For example, if you use 3GB of data, your charge for that month would be $4.00. If you exceed 6GB, the charge will be $9.00 for unlimited data.

Voice only line (includes unlimited Canadian long distance & Canada Wide unlimited Text/Pic/Video Messages)
You will be transitioned to the following plan pricing:

  • $2.50 per month

Q: How can I tell if, or when my current commitment is completed

Q: I have a $3.15 monthly add-on for unlimited Canadian Long Distance. Will that be removed when we transition over to the new plan

A: Since the new plan now includes unlimited long distance, this add-on will be removed

Q: Are there changes to the long distance rates and roaming options?

A: Yes, we have much lower long distance rates and better roaming options on the new plan

Q: Are the above plans the only options?

A: No, there are now four plans to choose from. If you’re upgrading, the price will be slightly higher. Additionally, we have plans that allow you to use your voice and data in the US. For more details, please visit Carleton’s Mobile Plan for Business Use page.

Q: Who is eligible for this new plan?

A: This corporate plan only applies to devices that are paid for by Carleton funds.
This corporate plan is not available for employees’ personal (non-reimbursed) cell phone plans.
