How much is it to call long distance?
Effective April 1, 2025, all lines that are no longer under the two-year voice and data contract from the previous upgrade or BYOD lines (Bring your own device) will transition to the new plan pricing and will include the following Long Distance Rates
Original Corporate Plan Pricing
(Original corporate plan long distance rates applies until the two-year voice and data term from the last upgrade of the line is completed.)
Calls within Canada:
$0.01 per minute
Canadian long distance packages:
Unlimited minutes for $3.15 / month
Calls to the US from Canada:
$0.15 per minute
US Long Distance Packages
- 50 minutes for $5
- 125 minutes for $10
International Calls

$7 US & International long distance Saver
With this add-on you will receive extremely low rates for call from Canada to the US and International for $7 per month.
As an example:
China / regular rate is 1.50$ per minute / with the $7 long distance saver the long distance saver rate is now 0.05$ per minute
India / regular rate 1.50$ per minute / / with the $7 long distance saver the long distance rate is now 0.02$ per minute

Note: If the destination does not have a preferred rate, only the pay-per-use rates will be displayed.
The 7 $ option also allows SMS and MMS unlimited and for free from Canada to US and international countries.
As long as the call is placed from anywhere in Canada, the end user is fine.
Please note that usage outside of Canada (roaming) is not included with this option.
