Carleton’s suite of faculty newsletters (Eureka!, pamorama and ingenious) received the 2006 Bronze Accolade Award for best four-colour newsletter from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). CASE membership includes more than 3,000 colleges, universities and independent schools in the United States, Canada and 42 other countries. Member institutions in District II, in which Carleton competes, include Princeton, University of Toronto and York University.
Pamorama also took the gold award in the newsletter category in the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education’s annual Prix d’Excellence competition. The judging committee commented, “Pamorama is an excellent publication, easy to read, but with an authoritative air. Like its cousins, Eureka! and ingenious, it has a strong, recognizable look and sensible design.”
