The latest volume in an ongoing series on contemporary conflict, Leashing the Dogs of War: Conflict Management in a Divided World, recently received an Outstanding Academic Title Award by the library journal CHOICE. Fen Osler Hampson, director of NPSIA and professor of international affairs, is one of the editors of the volume that presents new perspectives on how best to prevent, manage or resolve conflicts. It received the CHOICE award for excellence in presentation and scholarship, importance relative to other literature in the field, distinction as a first treatment of a given subject, and originality or uniqueness of treatment.
