The 7th Canadian Permafrost Conference was held in Quebec City in late September 2015. Papers presented at the Canadian Conference are reviewed and published. It is not possible to give a presentation without submitting a paper about 4 months before the meeting. This ensures the quality of the presentations.

The Carleton permafrost group presented 13 papers at the conference. They are listed below. Links are provided for you to access and read them.

Fourteen past and present members of the Carleton group attended the conference.

Awards

Brendan O’Neill and Marcus Phillips won the prize for best paper by a student at the Conference, sponsored and adjudicated by the Permafrost Young Researchers Network of the International Permafrost Association. Their prize is for two papers, which the adjudicators were unable to separate on merit, so they were equal first!
