Principal Investigator: Deepthi Kamawar
Research Description:
My research interests are in the area of young children’s cognitive development. My research focuses on a variety of areas, including: (1) young children’s developing moral reasoning and its relation to children’s ability to consider others’ mental states (i.e., Theory of Mind); (2) young children’s developing Executive Function skills (e.g., cognitive flexibility, inhibitory control); and (3) young children’s developing ability to consider a future point in time (i.e., future-oriented thinking), by examining their prospective memory and ability to save for the future.
We are currently looking for 3.5 to 5 year olds to participate in our studies! If you and your child would like to participate, please visit this website for more information.
