There is lots of exciting research going on in the Pickering Centre and there are opportunities for you and your child to get involved and participate! Here is a glimpse at what kinds of studies are going on:

  • Early numeracy and math skills
  • Storybook reading in families
  • Youth extracurricular participation
  • Friendships and peer relations
  • Saving for the future and moral development

We are currently looking for parents who have at least one child between the ages of 4-18 years old to complete a quick 5-minute online study on parental beliefs and attitudes about children and adolescents spending time alone: https://carletonpsych.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eFl8HvhngzLtMk5.
