Expectations as a QES Scholar during the Mobility Period

My expectations are that, during the mobility period, I will work with the help of my mentor to properly develop my PhD proposal. Acquire in-depth knowledge in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques for my data collections and appropriate software’s for the analysis. I look forward to build my capacity in academic writing and publishing in peer review journals. I will learn better presentation skills to be able to better impart knowledge to my students and colleagues. Above all, the knowledge to be acquired will enhance my ability as a climate change ambassador.

The QES Project and Advancement of your Career

In the long term, QES project will contribute to the early completion of my PhD. It will lead to collaborations with other participants, my mentor and other faculty at Carleton University in related areas of study. It will contribute to building my expertise and confidence to become a scholar in my field of research. I hope to publish and disseminate the findings of my research in peer reviewed journals.
