READ wants you to be aware of the upcoming public consultation taking place in Ottawa as part of the Second Independent Review of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) to your local networks.

AODA Reviewer, Dean Mayo Moran of the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto, is examining Ontario’s progress towards achieving the goals for accessibility set out in the AODA and its standards.

The Reviewer will be holding a public consultation session in Ottawa on Tuesday March 18, 2014 from 12:30pm-5:30pm at the Ottawa Convention Centre.

In addition to holding public consultations in a number of locations across the province, the Reviewer will also be holding two on-line consultations and accepting written submissions from the public until June 1, 2014.
