Core Staff

Accessibility Institute is driven by the talent and dedication of its people; our staff, allies, partners, and champions. The Core Staff are the central force of the Institute leading all aspects of the Institute’s engagements and operations.

Casual Staff

Accessibility Institute is a highly diverse and dynamic team thanks to the contributions of our part-time staff and student positions. Our Casual Staff are engaged across the Institute in activities related to the Coordinated Accessibility Strategy, the Canadian Accessibility Network, and many other initiatives.

Project Staff

Accessibility Institute leads and coordinates a number of active projects. We are extremely proud of the talented staff who do this impactful and transformational work in research, professional training, capacity development, and community engagement. Please take time to view our past and present projects and their teams.

Student Accessibility Champions

Accessibility Institute prioritizes engaging students in meaningful learning and development opportunities. In addition to being members of our Casual Staff, students can contribute to the Institute as Accessibility Champions, a volunteer opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities. Please visit our Student Accessibility Champions page for more information and to meet our current Champions!

Researchers in Accessibility

Accessibility Institute is connected with a network of allies, partners, collaborators, and champions who have supported and inspired the work of the Institute over the years. Researchers in Accessibility is a group affiliated with the Institute with interest in accessibility and disability related research. If you are a researcher in Canada or internationally, and would like to collaborate with us, please have a look at our Researchers in Accessibility page and get in touch!
