Elisabeth is currently an MASc student in Civil Engineering at Carleton University and a member of our research group. She previously worked with the group as an NSERC-USRA Research Assistant in Summer 2025 before beginning her MASc in Fall 2025 under the supervision of Drs. Erochko and Sadeghian. Her research focuses on the seismic behaviour of suspended ceiling systems through the use of numerical modelling to study the response of non-structural components under earthquake loading. By comparing OpenSees simulations with shake table test results, her work seeks to improve the prediction of overall dynamic response, damage progression, and collapse behaviour in suspended ceiling systems. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University. In her spare time, she enjoys playing pickleball and reading.
