Mahdi Alquzweeni is currently a Master of Applied Science student in Civil Engineering at Carleton University and a member of our research group. His research focuses on the macro-modelling and seismic assessment of 3D-printed concrete systems, with the goal of better understanding their structural behaviour and seismic performance.
Prior to joining Carleton, Mahdi earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Australian University of Kuwait and gained professional experience in construction management and heritage restoration in Iraq. His interests include seismic assessment, structural analysis, computational modelling, and innovative construction technologies. In his spare time, he enjoys reading about history and politics, travelling, and spending time with family.
