Mark Tanyous

Research Assistant

Degrees:B.A.Sc. (Carleton University)

Mark Tanyous received the NSERC-USRA scholarship and worked as a Research Assistant during the summer of 2019 in our group. His project focused on nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforced concrete beam-column joints strengthened with FRP composites. As part of his project, Mark investigated important structural characteristics of retrofitted joints such as peak strength, ductility, crack pattern, and damage progression. Hi is currently working as a Project Coordinator at EllisDon.
