Jamie currently serves as President and CEO of the Kanata North Business Association and Hub350, representing Canada’s Largest Technology Park with over 540 businesses and 33,000 employees. Previously Jamie led marketing for Canadian SaaS Accelerator, L-SPARK, as a member of the founding team and supported over 36 portfolio companies in raising over $24M in angel and venture capital funding while building a community of 10,000+ SaaS entrepreneurs, investors and partners. Jamie is also a co-founder of SaaS North, Canada’s first conference designed to connect 1000+ technology founders, investors and executives over a 2 day annual event in Ottawa, Canada.

Jamie is passionate about community building, growth of the Canadian technology industry and digital transformation. Previous to L-SPARK Jamie was instrumental in the launch of a Canadian owned resort in Negril, Jamaica where she grew the business to millions in annual revenue and expanded the team to over 30 employees. During this time The SPA Retreat Boutique Hotel was recognized by the International Hotel Awards, World Travel Awards and Tripadvisor Awards of Excellence and continues to be ranked the #1 Hotel in Jamaica on Tripadvisor.

Jamie has developed insight into brand building, strategy development, marketing and sales and has been featured in Techcrunch, Entrepreneur, IT Business Canada and earned coverage for the brands she has represented in the Financial Post, Globe & Mail, Fortune, CNN Travel, ABC News & more.

Jamie has directed digital content marketing campaigns and implemented growth strategies with email marketing automation, search engine marketing and social media distribution tactics. While also determining sales and channel strategies in a variety of market segments and developed customer loyalty & referral programs. All while directing the image, maintenance & inventory allocation of company & affiliate websites, blogs and online booking sites.

As an advocate for women in tech, Jamie devotes time as a mentor in the startup community and has served on various boards such as Women in Communications and Technology.
