Arash Ahmadi received the Ph.D. degree in electronics from the University of Southampton, U.K., in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, he was a Fellow Researcher with the SpiNNaker project at the University of Southampton.He is a faculty member with the Department of Electronics at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. His current research interests include circuit design and optimization for neuromorphic computing, physical AI, AI-on-a-Chip, bio-inspired computing, memristors, and hardware security and trust.

BSc Student (2026)
Tristan Laliberté is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics at Carleton University. He is currently completing an Undergraduate Summer Research Award (USRA) focusing on Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) hardware acceleration on FPGA, and eventually ASIC implementation. His research interests include hardware algorithmic implementation and hardware acceleration, with an emphasis on efficient hardware design..
Aliza Ghani

Aliza Ghani is a Electrical Engineering student at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, and a Research Intern at Carleton University’s sHaRe Lab under Prof. Arash Ahmadi, where she is currently developing an AI-driven UVM verification framework for RTL designs. Her research interests include digital design, digital design verification.
