Prof. Steve Ulrich was awarded funding from the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade through the Early Researcher Awards (ERA) program. This prestigious award will allow Prof. Ulrich’s research team to address the problem of autonomous proximity operations with space debris. Specifically, he will develop adaptive algorithms to enable robotic spacecraft to autonomously and safely interact with space debris.
