Sujoy Chatterjee

Sujoy Chatterjee is a lawyer and technologist specializing in privacy legal compliance. He is a graduate of MAPA and holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in addition to undergraduate degrees from York University and the University of Toronto.
Sujoy has a keen interest in technology implementation and how government uses technology for service delivery. He worked for several years as a technical policy advisor at the municipal level, advising on privacy, data governance, technology implementation, risk management, and physical security. He also has experience working with the federal government in the deployment of new technologies that collect and retain personal information in novel use cases.
He has taught Ethics for Public Policy (PADM 4230/5230) as well as a graduate seminar course on the Impact of Law on Policy. He regularly designs and delivers training in privacy, ethics, professionalism, and technology subjects through conference speaking engagements and enterprise-wide training programs.
