By pursuing graduate studies at the School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA), Carleton University, Hilda will conduct research on how the institutional structures and governance of aid to not-for-profit educational institutions impact outcomes, and how accountability for the funds provided is implemented. The research will employ a case study of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Policy, its implementation and challenges.
Prior to commencing the PhD program, Hilda has attained immense experience as an Early Childhood Educator and as a policy analyst with Natural Resources Canada. Her research interests derive from a combination of her policy work experience
and passion for early childhood education.
