Microsoft is rolling out email security enhancements for all customers, including students using cMail, and you may need to switch email apps before October to keep accessing your inbox.

Microsoft has introduced a new method of authentication called Modern Authentication. On Saturday, October 1, 2022, apps that don’t support Modern Authentication will lose access to cMail. If your email app doesn’t support Modern Authentication you will need to download the Microsoft Outlook app for all mobile, desktop and laptop devices, or switch to Outlook on the Web using a browser.
