The National Capital Commission (NCC) will be temporarily closing sections of the Queen Elizabeth Driveway and Colonel By Drive to vehicles on Thursday, April 13, Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15, 2023.

On Friday, April 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Colonel By Drive (northbound and southbound lanes) will be closed between the Bronson Avenue Bridge and Hog’s Back Road. On-ramp and off-ramp access at the Bronson Bridge will remain open. Access to campus from Colonel By will not be available during this closure. The Bronson Avenue entrances to campus remain open.

Some sections of the Rideau Canal pathways may be closed for a short period during the installation. Users must comply with the flag persons’ directives and proceed along designated detours.

These closures are necessary to remove the changing and washroom facilities from the Rideau Canal Skateway. Full details of road closures are available on the NCC website.
