The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice invites applications from qualified candidates for a preliminary (tenure track) appointment in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2016.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. (or expected in 2016) in a relevant discipline or program with a strong background in criminological theory, and demonstrate excellence in teaching and research. Research and teaching expertise in critical criminology, criminological theory, and interdisciplinary approaches to criminology and criminal justice are strongly favoured. The successful candidate will teach and supervise honours theses in the undergraduate program of Criminology & Criminal Justice, and is expected to pursue an independently funded program of research.
