York University hosted the fifth annual PRI-CBERN Academic Network Conference, which brought together Responsible Investment scholars and practitioners from around the world. The conference is a unique opportunity for researchers, students and investment professionals to present research, identify research opportunities and build partnerships to continue to enhance our knowledge of responsible investment. The purpose of the 2012 Academic Network Conference was to further develop the understanding of the complexity of institutions, organizations, strategies and processes that make up responsible investment.

Past conferences have addressed themes of the Dynamics of Responsible Investment, Mainstreaming Responsible Investment, and the Next Generation of Responsible Investing. CBERN’s reflections on this year’s conference can be accessed here. The conference website can be accessed here.

Tess Hebb attended as a plenary panelist, while 3ci Research Assistants with the RII CURA, Dominique Diouf and Heather Hachigian, presented papers.
