The deadline to submit papers for the upcoming PRI Academic Network Conference has been EXTENDED to JUNE 30, 2014 so be sure to submit your abstract ASAP!
Registration is also open for the PRI Academic Network Conference 2014 being held from 22-24 September in Montréal, Canada. This event is held in collaboration with the David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise, Concordia University Montréal and 3ci, Carleton University, Ottawa.
As part of a week of responsible investing events, the PRI Academic Network Conference will be hosted the same week and venue as PRI in Person. The theme of this year’s event is ‘bridging the gap’ between academics and investors globally. Investors will benefit from presentations on the latest responsible investment research across ESG integration, shareholder engagement, risks from structural market failures, short-termism and impact investing. Academics will have an opportunity to meet directly with investors, receive feedback on their work from industry experts and better understand where future efforts should be directed.
Keynote speakers already confirmed include George Serafeim, Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School and Zacharias Sautner, Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Keep checking back for more updates on speakers in the coming weeks and click here to see last year’s conference report and video highlights.
Delegates who register for both conferences can take advantage of a US$200 discount. In addition we encourage delegates of both events to join us for the full day on Wednesday 24th September at no extra cost.
