Catalyzing Carleton University as an Anchor Institution
Update: Webinar is now available online at: https://vimeo.com/161644140
On Wednesday, March 30th at 12pm (EDT) Tessa Hebb and James Puddicombe of the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation (3ci) at Carleton University explored the role universities can play as “anchor institutions” within their community. Through their work at 3ci, Tessa and James see the potential of universities to contribute to sustainable, vibrant and diverse communities. To make this shift, universities need to utilize all their resources and think more broadly about their mission—an approach sometimes referred to as “the eds and meds”.
