Senior Research Fellow Ted Jackson’s recent opinion piece in the Hill Times on how Canada can create the world’s first feminist development finance institution (DFI) has drawn the interest of government officials, academics and development professionals.  He argues that the new DFI’s gender equality mandate should be embedded in its articles of incorporation and the performance metrics of its executive team, and that all investments should be screened through a gender lens.  For more, see page 12, here.
