Francois Brouard
Francois Brouard is Associate Professor at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University.
François Brouard, a bilingual Chartered Accountant, is an associate professor in the accounting group at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University in Ottawa. He teaches at the undergraduate (B.Com) and graduate (MBA, PhD) level (taxation, financial accounting, corporate governance and accountability, entrepreneurship)..He is the director of a new Sprott Centre on Social Enterprises. The Center focuses on social entrepreneurship, social marketing and non profit organizations.
Dr Brouard (BAA HEC Montréal; MSc. UQAM; DBA UQTR) has a research interest in defining social entrepreneurship and creating a typology of social entreprises. He has presented his work on social entrepreneurship at conferences organized by Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE) / Conseil canadien des PME et de l’entrepreneuriat (CCPME), Administrative Sciences Association of Canada / Association des sciences administratives du Canada (ASAC), Sprott research seminars and at the Institut du Nouveau Monde for their first Journée de l’entrepreneuriat social.
