Sarona manages both direct investment funds and funds-of-funds for family and institutional investors, seeking strong financial returns for its investors, while promoting ethical, social and environmental values. In over 20 years of frontier market investing, Mr. Pries has been a founder of a number of private investment firms, including Sarona and MicroVest Capital Management. He currently serves on the Board and Investment Committee of Sarona, MicroVest, Grand Challenges Canada, ImpactAssets, and numerous companies in the Sarona portfolio. Mr. Pries started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, with formative experiences in international development finance and work with Mother Teresa.
