Alannah Bergeret

MA Student

Alannah is a Master’s student working across the Psychology and Neuroscience departments. Her research interests focus on the well-being of autistic individuals of all ages, with an emphasis on autistic parents and adolescents. Her current work adopts a multidisciplinary approach to understanding autistic parenting, alongside an interest in developing parenting programs to better support autistic families and advocacy for the rights of autistic individuals. She intends to pursue a career as a Psychologist to work with the adolescent and adult autistic population experiencing co-occurring substance use disorders or eating disorders, while continuing to advance research in these areas.
