Maram “muh-RAM” Bakiro (She/Her, PhD candidate) holds an MSc from the United Arab Emirates University and joined the Barry Lab in the Fall of 2022.
Her research is primarily focused on the Molecular Layer Deposition (MLD) of hybrid materials and she is also a member of the micro team at the C2MCI, focusing on Area Selective Deposition (ASD) of carbenes on metal surfaces. This work is part of a collaborative effort with the Crudden Research Lab at Queen’s University and the Ragogna Research Group at Western University.
