Dr. Basu was so happy to be able to share with the TEMBO supporters the work that is being conducted in Tanzania for the “From Buckets to Rain Barrels” Project during their Annual 
Fundraising Luncheon on Oct 28, 2017. Dr. Basu highlighted both the success, failures, and unexpected challenges that are all part of the project which aims to facilitate access to water resources in rural Tanzania. The project also includes many facets of education by including undergraduate students from Carleton each year on the field site visits, and conducting workshops with local students and adults on a variety of WASH and water resource related topics.
