Kailash Mital Theatre

The Kailash Mital Theatre honours Mr. Kailash Mital, who together with his wife Nandi, had established a long history of philanthropy at Carleton University, creating a number of scholarships for small business and entrepreneurship.

With a 444 seating capacity, the Kailash Mital Theatre is suitable for dramatic productions, acoustic and amplified concerts, and both conferences and meetings.

Adjacent to Southam Hall, the theatre serves both as a community resource and a classroom.

Parking

Parking is available in both Lot #1 and the Library parking garage. On Saturdays and Sundays, it costs $6.00/day. Parking on weekdays costs $4.50 per hour for a maximum of four hours ($18.00). The evening rate (after 5 p.m.) in Lot #1 and in the Library Parking Garage is $10.00. On the weekends, there is a flat rate of $6.00 per day.
