The Sprott School of Business together with The Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue, Centre for European Studies are pleased to invite you to a talk by Mr. Euan Wallace, First Secretary and head of the Global Issues Group, British High Commission Ottawa, entitled “A UK view on the low-carbon economy and business: Preparing now for the future” on Friday, November 5th at 12 pm. Lunch will be served from 12-12:30pm.
Mr. Euan Wallace is a career British diplomat. He is currently First Secretary at the British High Commission in Ottawa where he heads the Global Issues Group covering work on the Economy, Energy, the Environment and on Climate Change. Mr. Wallace was also an Assistant Private Secretary to the FCO’s Minister for Europe and has served overseas in Paris, Moscow, New York and at the UK Delegation to NATO in Brussels.
In his talk, Mr. Wallace will discuss green jobs and give a quick look at the UK from a low carbon investment perspective.
