The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has opened the Call for Applications for its ”Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development” programme.

This programme for young scientists promotes the international exchange of innovative green ideas.

Applicants must either be currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD programme or have completed their degree no more than three years before the end of the application process. Their research must have a strong focus on sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach, and they must have an excellent command of English. Applicants are welcomed from all countries (except Germany).

The prize consists of a  two-week Science Forum in Germany, where you will be introduced to renowned research facilities, have individual meetings with experts, and learn about potential collaborations.

Following the Science Forum, you will have the opportunity to return to Germany for up to three months to conduct a research stay at an institute of your choice the year after the Science Forum.

The deadline for applications for this programme is 23 May 2018.
