Internal Consultation Questions
The following questions were discussed during the consultation sessions:
- Briefly, what is your perception of Carleton as an institution engaged in the community?
- How would you describe your experience in working or interacting with Carleton?
- If you could wave a magic wand and change one thing about working with Carleton or using the services we offer to the community, what would it be?
- Reciprocity in the sense of mutual respect and give-and-take is an essential principle of community engagement. Do you think your relationship with Carleton embodies this principle? If so, how? If not, what do you think is lacking?
- How would you like to see Carleton supporting you, your organization and community in the future?
- Are there any new ways you could see Carleton as an institution, engaging in the community?
What We’ve Heard So Far
Over the last several months, the Centre for Community Engagement has engaged Carleton faculty, staff and students in consultations that will help form the Strategic Plan for Community Engagement (SP4CE). The Strategic Plan for Community Engagement (SP4CE) Progress Report summarizes the themes and ideas that were discussed in these internal consultations.
