The NSERC’s Alliance grants team has organized an information session on “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) considerations in the training plan in Alliance Grants applications” for Canadian university researchers who are interested in applying for an Alliance grant or who want to stay updated on EDI requirements in the context of Alliance grants. They delivered the presentations on April 5th and 12th, and they will be offering it two more times during the month of April 2023 at the dates and times indicated below.

Each session will begin with a presentation on EDI considerations in the training plan, which will include tips and best practices as well as scenario-based examples, and will conclude with a period for answering your EDI questions.

Please submit and/or upvote any EDI-related questions that you would like addressed during the sessions in advance using the Slido poll link below, next to the session that you will attend. The Slido poll will remain open until noon the Friday prior to each session. Submitting your question in advance will ensure that we get to your question during the presentation and that we are able to prepare a helpful answer for you.

Please bear in mind that any project-, partner-, student, or team-specific questions are better addressed privately; you can send these anytime by contacting the team at alliance@nserc-crsng.gc.ca . Please also use this address to submit any other (i.e. non-EDI-related) Alliance questions.
