2021 Early Career Researcher Conference

The Centre for Research on Inclusion at Work (CRIW) is pleased to invite you to its virtual multidisciplinary conference for scholars exploring equity issues at work among traditionally underrepresented populations.

Twenty research papers on workplace inclusion will be presented at this year’s Early Career Researcher Conference on Wednesday, April 28.

Conference overview:

The conference consists of four sessions. Each session consists of two simultaneous “rooms” with presentations grouped by subject. Below is a breakdown of the day and subjects. For a detailed list of papers and speakers in each room, please see the conference program.

8:30 AM – 9:00 AM – Welcome & Opening Remarks

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM – Session 1

10:30 AM – 10:45 AM – Break

10:45 AM – 11:45 AM – Session 2

  • Room A: Immigrant Workplace Integration
  • Room B: Getting to Work: Work Access

2:30 PM – 2:45 PM – Break

2:45 PM – 3:45 PM- Session 4

  • Room A: Identifying as an ‘Outsider’
  • Room B: The Words We Use

3:45 PM – 4:00 PM – Closing Remarks

Graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty members from any university
