Kassandra Morton

Upon graduating in 2022, I was offered a position in proposal coordination at an IT staffing company named Mindwire Systems Ltd. As a proposal administrator, I utilize my writing and reading-comprehension skills in the development of bids to win government and private-sector contracts in IT resourcing.

How has your Carleton English degree informed your professional and/or creative path?

My Carleton English degree has enabled me to enter a new industry with the advanced-writing skills that allow me to thrive and succeed.

Why Carleton? What specific experiences or opportunities did you benefit from while studying English at Carleton?

While studying at Carleton, I had the extreme pleasure of learning under Dana Dragunoiu. She is the best teacher I have ever known and having her as a professor opened my eyes to so many of my passions. I can’t recommend enough studying under her.
