Permission to register in a creative writing workshop is at the discretion of the course instructor. All interested students must submit a writing sample (portfolio) using the application form by Wednesday, July 31, 2019 for fall term courses and Wednesday, November 06, 2019 Thursday, December 5th, 2019 for winter term courses. Students will receive an acknowledgement email to confirm the department has received their writing sample. Decisions will be communicated by email no later than Wednesday, August 7, 2019 for fall term courses, and on an ongoing basis for winter term courses. Successful applicants will be granted an override to facilitate registration. Acceptance into a workshop is not guaranteed; students are advised to register in an alternate course until the selection process is complete. If workshops are not full, applications past this deadline may be considered by the instructor.
