To All Members of the Carleton Community,
In response to a priority outlined in our institutional Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan, Carleton is moving forward with an initiative to collect disaggregated demographic data from students, staff, and faculty in order to better understand the representation, experiences, and perspectives of employees and students. This will inform the design of equitable and inclusive services, build supports, and enhance outcomes across the university.
Carleton’s success, now and into the future, must be built upon the best information, evidence, and data available about the experience of our community members through the lens of equity, inclusion, and Indigenous ways of knowing and learning.
Following the publication of the EDI Action Plan, a broad working group has developed a draft Self-Identification Survey. Before finalizing, we would like to invite all members of the Carleton community to provide feedback on the draft survey by registering for a consultation or submitting comments online. In addition to several invitation-only sessions, the following consultations are available for open registration for faculty and staff.
In-Person Consultation

Sincerely,
