Biography
Ari is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Ethics and Public Affairs program at Carleton University. They received their M.A. in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2019 focusing on secularisms. They received their B.A. Magna Cum Laude in Philosophy from the University of Illinois in 2018 focusing on philosophy of identity and philosophy of time. They also hold an A.Sc. and A.A. in Astrophysics, Applied Math, and Leadership Education from Ohio University. Their current research looks at trans folks’ access to healthcare while paying particular attention to the roles of vulnerability and trust.
