Experiential learning is more than co-op, placements, internships, etc. – it’s supporting a way of learning that values deep and lifelong learning, student engagement, and real community impact.
But how can you make it happen?
Come find out at the Experiential Learning Virtual Showcase, November 8 to 12, 9am-3pm (in Zoom). Hosted by Teaching and Learning Services’ (TLS), the Showcase will include over a dozen unique sessions to give you ideas and resources about how to design and implement innovative approaches to experiential learning in your classroom.
Three Types of Sessions
“Spotlight on Experiential Learning”
Panel discussions
These panels feature your colleagues from across campus who have worked with Carleton departments and programs to bring innovative experiential learning into the classroom.
“Ask the Experts”
Drop-in consultations
Have questions about the planning and logistics of experiential learning? Drop in for an on-the-spot consultation with campus experts from TLS, Centre for Indigenous Initiatives, Risk Management, and more!
